In summer 2018, a Borey Model L and two LA-8 aircraft flew along the Arctic Circle through Russia, the United States, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
The route over land, seas and oceans provided a practical test of the aircraft in remote and demanding conditions.
